Summary of Case:

One of sixteen people from Mansfield, Ohio wrongly convicted of selling drugs based solely on the false testimony of DEA informant Jerrell Bray. Convicted after a guilty plea, of selling more than 50 grams of crack cocaine to Bray, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison. After Bray admitted he made up his accusations against the defendants, the U.S. Attorney's Office filed a motion to vacate all their convictions. The convictions were vacated and they were released on or about February 1, 2008, except for Dwayne Nabors, who was released on bail in October 2007 and Geneva France, whose conviction was overturned in June 2007. Geneva France was wrongly imprisoned for 19 months, Dwayne Nabors was wrongly imprisoned for 16 months, and the other fourteen were imprisoned for nearly 20 months.

After Bray admitted he made up his accusations against the defendants, the U.S. Attorney's Office filed a motion to vacate all their convictions.
