Summary of Case:

"Marie-Luise Jahn was one of the White Rose defendants. After Professor Huber's arrest, Hans Leipelt and Marie-Luise Jahn secretly collected funds for the destitute Huber. For helping the Huber family Jahn and Leipelt were arrested (along with Leipelt's mother (who died awaiting trial) and his sister.) Jahn was arrested on July 13, 1943, 3 months before Leipelt.. She was convicted and sentenced on October 13, 1944 to 12 years in a maximum security prison. On September 8, 2009 the German Parliament unanimously overturned all WWII conviction for treason. So the treason convictions of all White Rose participants were overturned. It is also believed that the White Rose participants convictions had previously been legislatively stripped of any legal force in 1983."
